Hi

I need to build a system which allows a user to goto a web site and enter a user name and password. If the user name and password is recognised the user is presented with a new web page.

Could this be written using asp? If so could anyone point me in a good direction to start?

I have full access to the server that the web site will be running on and its Windows NT.

Those are a few excellent sources for information on Active Server Pages and devguru has a great downloadable vbscript reference guide. If you don't get anything else, get that.
