I wonder if anyone can help with suggestions?

I'm looking for somewhere to host a site for a band and register the domain name at the same time (although this isn't vital as I can always redirect with the name).

The two main places I've looked at (and have been recommended to me) are supanames.com and easyspaces.com.

The problem is that supanames don't allow mp3's (handy when trying to promote a band) and easyspaces looked too expensive for something which has a banner opt out as extra.

If anyone has any suggestions for hosting they would be much appreciated.

For a cheap .co.uk domain name, check out

Don't ever go with a registrar that charges you to transfer the IPS tag away to another provider, Easyspace are one company that does charge.

The hosting is more difficult as I have no idea what you actually require or what price range you are looking for.

BUT, a few years ago the servers used to be really hopeless although they may be better now. If you are thinking of using them, get a subdomain first and try that to see how the servers are now.
