Web Site Addresses in Email, Won't Open

I use Outlook Express. When I click on an website adddress (the address is blue), a blank window opens and the icon indicates its searching for the website but after two minutes, I get the unable to find page. But if I copy and paste, the web site comes right up. Is there place I can go to set it up to be able to click and go from the email?
