In the httpd.conf file I have the following:

AddType application/x-tar .tgz
AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .cgi
AddType application/x-perl .pl

Is this the proper place to place an entry in order for Flash on web pages to work?[dazed]

TIA for any help.

I don't think you need to do anything to get Flash working in Apache. What is the error message you are receiving?

Thanks very much for replying. I managed to figure out that while using this page, created with "coffeecup firestarter" software, that I needed to place all three files (.html, .swf, and .fire) on the web. Coffeecup has a license from MacroMedia to use their viewer.[morning]
