Web Server Behind Proxy *AND* Firewall

I have a temporary webserver set up to test some new online software. We are using WinProxy and a LanLock firewall which is administered by our ISP. In order for outside users to get through the proxy, I set it up for incoming http (reverse proxy path), pointing to the web server's internal proxy address. Our ISP then opened up the IP address so our test users can access the web server.

Here is where the problem kicks in...

When I go to the IP address, I get a login window asking for the user name, password and domain. I asked our ISP what I should be using to log in (because I know the firewall is password protected). He told me to talk to my system administrator for that information. Problem is, I'm the system administrator. Actually I just know more about the network than anyone here, and try to keep it administered, but have no formal certifications or education.

I have tried my own logon name, and the administrator logon name to no avail. For the domain I have used the network name, the server (computer) name, the IP address, our domain name (which shouldn't have anything to do with it because it's hosted elsewhere on a different IP).

I'm at a complete loss! I've asked my system administrator how I should log on, and I don't know how to answer myself! ;)

Any help is *greatly* appreciated!

A thought occured to me... should I set up active directory services on the computer I'm trying to connect directly to (the winproxy server that has the static IP address)? Currently it is not utilizing active directory, and there are no users set up save the administrator account. I've tried using the administrator account as well, using the full computer name and the domain name, and that didn't work either.

HI.

Since your proxy server could easily be a target for attacks, and since you're not sure - I suggest asking for a profesional support to help you make it work, but also make it secure as possible.

And no, I don't thing that installing Active Directory on the proxy is a good idea if currently it is working without it.
