I am using Crystal Report 7 web report server with SmartJavaViewer to output my report onto the browser. The document/file is set to legal - landscape for printing. But whenever i print using the web report server, i have to manually set the size of the paper, and orientation, is there a way to automate this? so that whenever a user presses the "print" icon, it prints automatically to legal size and landscape portrait?

thanks for any help!

Jayson: I think that this setting is driven by your printer settings. Try and set up a specific named printer with your legal-landscape settings and see if you can print directly to that David C. Monks

Thanks for the suggestion.

The main problem i guess, is the web report server/website, will be access by people outside the company and worldwide, so when they use the "print" icon on the viewer, the print dialog box settings will default to whatever local computer/printer they are using at that time. My goal i guess, is instead of "defaulting" to the settings of the local computer/printer, somehow my code would dictate the default settings for the printer they are using locally.

Is it even possible to do so? Thanks!
