I have designed a header that I am trying to insert into a word document that I will use as an e-mail. The header is approximately 8 inches wide. However, when I insert it into word, it becomes approximately 6 inches wide. What is the reason for this? I'm sure that the answer is an easy one, but I just cannot figure it out. Thanks for the help.

If the graphic is wider than the margins in your Word document it will be resized upon insertion to the margin width.

Just stretch your margins out before inserting and then you can put them back afterwards and the graphic wont resize.
