Web Publishing won't do search on some files but will on others 1

I have several files set to use web companion. They are all using soft grey. Two files can search and submit information based on a very long form view. The third can't search once the form view has more than 4 fields in it. The set up seems to be the same in each. I did make the layout in the one that does not work with the layout setup wizard. That is only difference I can tell.

Any help would be appreciated

make sure all the fields are included on the layout and are not unstored calcs/globals being published.....
also conider switching to at least CDML+HTML (custom web publishing) it will be worth to you in a long run...u will find it more suitable and much easier to adjust to your design and funtionality needs.
However, you would need to know HTML and JavaScript to develop semi-secure solution.
