Dear all, it is all about Web version.
I am trying to drill from Powerplay to IWR (same .iqd as the cube), say the rows are years, and the columns are country names. When I highlight one of the cell, eg. 2002, US, and choose drill-through, the IWR just return everything, no filter at all.

When I am using Window client, the filtering on the fly works perfect. So is it the limitation of WEB version?

Cheers!

I don't know of any problem where drill through filters are not applied on the web. Verify that the name of the level in your cube is identical to the name of the field in you IMR file. The filter is passed based on name only. Also ensure the IMR file you are drilling to is really the identical version you used to generate the IQD file for the cube datasource.

Ah Yes, it is returning everything. And the Cognos consultant told me that's the way it was. The highlighted cell is not really the filtering condition for Drill Through, I have to select filters on the filter rows, then click drill through, it will work this way. But I am thinking if there are ways of using the highlighted cell values for drill through, it makes better sense. Since the window version behave this intuitive way.

Thanks.

Dear Firecat1970,

Just wanted to check if you ever resolved the drill thru problem from a cube to an imr. I am facing the same problems right now - I get the whole imr.

Could you please let me how the problem could be resolved.

Thanks in advance
