Web portal server installation problem

Environment:
Web portal server ver 4.1
OS SuSe Linux
While installing WPS on linux ,I am getting following error:

During the portal server installation,after 84 % of installation the installation is aborted. Its throwing
error as operation failed. When I checked
the install.log it saying not able to install admin
portels.
Is there any prerequsites before installing the WPS any kind of customisation or application of patches.
Please suggest..Thanks in advance
