Web Portal for Storage Solution

I'm looking for software or an appliance that supplies a web portal for accessing drive shares. I would like to hook it into LDAP and provide access to shares on any server. This will supply storage access to 300 employees all over the world.

I've found a couple free linux solutions but they are hokey at best and don't have alot of support.

I'm having trouble finding anything else out there. Any ideas? I was kind of hoping there was a NAS appliance that might have this included. Thanks!
