Please help me understand the functionality of web parts. My company uses a WebLogic portal and I have been asked to create a web part that can be consumed by the portal application. Can this be done? Everthing I find on 2.0 web parts has a .net page that consumes the web parts. What I guess I am asking is: Is it possible to create a 'portlet' in asp.net 2.0 that can be consumed by a non-asp portal page? The term WSRP has been thrown at me, but that does not seem to be available in .net. Can anyone point me in a direction? I have spent days researching and have found nothing.
