Web Part Question

Is there a web part that will display information from another webpart (announcements) from another page? I tried using the form webpart and connecting it to the announcements webpart but it displayed as a page with scroll bars. I'm basically looking to display announcements from a departments web page on the home page.

Any advise would be appreciated!!

in moss 2007 the content query webpart can do that.

u can create a custom web part which will display the data from the announcement list.in c# you can use thw SPList class.
