How can I get my images (jpeg & gif) to populate immediately when web page opens? I used Microsoft Word 2002 sp3 to create two web sites (one page each) and each with no more than 20 images total. It's obvious I'm no pro since I used Word to create so I need some advice I can comprehend. THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!

UPDATE - I have now compressed all the jpegs from 300-400KB to 40-50KB using Jasc Paint Shop Pro and the images load acceptably faster but the page still "stutters" when scrolling. HELP!

That is probably part, if not all, of the problem. Word will generate so much extra markup that really isn't needed. I'd suggesting asking specific questions in the HTML forum, but I suspect the best thing you can do is go and read some HTML tutorials and start from scratch.

Word DOES have an add-in download available from Microsoft that will produce much more concise HTML output. It's for Word 2000, and newer versions of Word have it built in as the HTML Filtered document format.
