Hello,

I am trying to create a webpage on my computer. I have Windows 2000 with the Internet Information Services(IIS) installed. I have created a test page and dropped it in the folder The problem that I have is that when I go to the page from another computer, a message comes up asking for my username and password. How do I stop it from asking for the user/pass?

-Thank you,
David

That's a problem with your server configuration, not HTML or CSS. You'd be better off asking this in an IIS or Windows forum.

That said, I'd guess that either the file permissions on you and/or test page are wrong, or you have the wrong security settings in IIS. You might want to check the directory security for your site in the IIS administrator.
