Hi, Helpful People!
I'm suddenly having problems saving web pages. Every time I try, the activity bar fills up with the component files, reaches the end, then generates the error message "The web page could not be saved to the selected location". Changing locations makes no difference.
I'm trying to save "Web Page Complete", in Western European ISO format - something I've done literally thousands of time before.
I should add that a couple of days ago I re-formatted my HD and reinstalled everything from fresh.
The first thing I did when I got my Broadband back up was to go to the Windows Update site and get all the security fixes, IE6 service pack, etc. - something I've also done several times before when I've wanted to wipe everything and start afresh.
The curious thing this time was that the Windows Update site seemed at first to think I was running Win2000 or XP - It said this feature was only available to systems administrators, and it took me a while to get it to scan my HD and prepare then correct Win98SE updates.
The Microsoft Knowledge base doesn't offer any helpful solutions for this problem in Win98SE - Only in Win2000...
All suggestions gratefully received!
