web mail with sendmail

i have a send mail server up and running thanks to the help of all the good people that come to this site. what i would like to do now is try and run web mail with my server i have no clue where to start i and host a page now with the sever but i would really like to host webmail if any knows of anything to get me started that would help alot thanks for you time

Hi,

There are quite a few webmail apps around. They are interfaces to pop3 or imap servers, however, not direct to sendmail itself. So, you'd have to run an appropriate pop3/imap daemon as well as sendmail for the smtp side of things.

Hi,

I have been using adje web based email. It has worked really well for me. Go to adjeweb.com. I have 600 users. The only problems is make sure your /var parition is large. My users like the web mail so much that I had to add a 36.4 gig scsi hard drive because of it.
