I have a link on my web page that links to a PDF file. WHen the user clicks on the link, it will open Adobe reader if the user has it installed on their computer. However if Adobe is not installed, it opens in note pad with a weird binary string.

Is there a "clean" way to determine if the user has Adobe installed on their machine and if not, notify them to install reader??

Thanks in advance for your help
