Can anyone tell me if I can create a link on my company website that would allow users to download files from a NAS device on my network? Also, what equipment would be best to use (Buffalo TeraStation, D-Link ShareCenter etc). I would like to allow them to just click on a link and see the files, then right click to download (or something) WITHOUT having to enter any username or password.

Thanks.

How about you detail what you're trying to do:
1. Is this a one-time file? If so, why not just load it to the web server?
2. Where is the NAS device? Is this something from your house, or otherwise outside the company network? Or is it inside the company network?
3. About whether to enter username and password is also going to rely partially on #1. If within company, on a Windows network, you can use Windows authentication. If outside the corp network, you have to handle that on the NAS end - router/firewall has to allow the incoming traffic, and you have to know the exact address to the device/folder/file.
