Configuration is Virtual Server edition 10.1, new install.

I ordered and paid for a whole bunch of licenses, and I am trying to get out ahead of the vendor and get this going for testing.

I also paid for IPOSS but that does not start till January 1.

So. I have installed the xml license file on the WebLM server and all licenses show, but, the server edition phone system which is running on the same host does not show all licenses, but, it does show the server edition is licensed. Also, it shows one 2 Avaya endpoints and I have two extensions configured, but it give an error that the number of extensions configured exceeds the number of licensed instances.

How can this partially work?

What am I missing?

It will show that for IP phone licences until you save the config and then reload the config. Clunky but that's the point at which the phone server asks the license server for the licenses for those extensions.

For other licenses you need to set the figures in the configuration for how many the phone system should request from the licence server and again save the config.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Well look at that, clunky for sure, that worked, thankyou.

You can always watch it in SSA then you will see the refresh after you upload the licenses
