1. Can a VB6 application say call up a window and then allow the user to type something in like a search string(similar to a how any Internet search engine does) and call a specific search engine like GOOGLE with the users search string and return to results to the Window to display back to the user?

2. Also a VB6 application actually analyse the returned websites (ie. search for IBM and it returns WW.IBM.COM, etc...) as I would like to be able to scan the HTML code (like to can go to any browser and right click and click on the View Source) as I want to be able to string KEY ELEMENYS from each of the returned pages the user requested and display some stats to them.

3. Can the software directly or via a plugin open and close an Internet Explorer browser(say 50 times for a test harness etc...) for example and correctly close it down without ending the VB6 application ?

Succintly I am trying to get some software that I can easily use to interface with the Internet with/without Plugins ....

Rgds,
Martin
