Hello there,

I'm managing a environment with 3 terminal servers with Citrix Presentation Server 4. To keep these identical to each other I've not installed Web Interface on any of them, but was planning to install WI on another machine.

Then I started thinking that if I could install WI on all of these 3 machines and loadbalance with Windows NLB that would be a nice solution since it would keep the machines identical.

So my questions are:

1) Is it considered best practice so have web interface on the same machine as PS4?
2) Do anyone see any potential problems with having NLB on my PS4-servers?

Hi,

it is not a problem to have WI running on a PS4 server although it is better to have it on an own machine.

You do not need NLB.
You can save the WI configuration in the Datastore and use one config for several WI servers.
Then just Round Robin can do it.
