I have had an interesting question from a user which i am hoping someone can help with.

IN ther Web Interface Configuration you can set the config so that if the connection is coming from a specific client (e.g. NATing Firewall) the system returns a translated IP address when selecting a server to login to.

This is all good and works OK but they are wondering if it is possible to return a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) instead of an IP.

As far as i can tell from Documentation and tests it is not possible for the Web Interface to return FQDNs (or anything else) instead of IPs.

If any knows different (or the same to agree with me) a reply would be most appreciated.

Please ignore the question above. Another trawl through lots of documentation as provided the answer.

It can be done - but it is all or nothing. All FQDN or all IP and cannot be mixed.
