Web Icons in Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,

I am running windows XP with internet explorer 6.0. When I reformat my computer when I am viewing web pages they will sometimes have "web icons". That is they will have an icon in the address bar for the website. Then somepoint into my use of internet explorer all of my web icons no longer show up. Any ideas how to get them back and what I am doing to make them not show up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be something like this.

The only way a shortcut icon appears on a user's Favorites menu and Address bar is if the user chooses to add your page as a favorite or bookmark the site.
