hello everyone.

I just wanted to find out if Win2k can be a web host and how this can be achieved i.e the configuration steps.

i checked some materials available to me on Win 2k but to no avail.

Thanks all.

YEs , it can be a web host. Install IIS , go to Add/Remove-->Add/Remove Windows Component (You will find IIS (Internet Information Services), under Network Services or something like that .
After installed, you should be able to reach the default site, by typing the name of your server on the address bar of your browser.(If you want to make new sites, you can do it by goig to Control PAnel-->Admin Tools-->Internet Information Services..then lcick on the server name and right click-->New Site.
There is a lot of information about IIS, how to use it ,configure it, etc.
