I am trying to find another host but I am so sick of the way that they advertise. Is there anyone that has done this before can recommnend me some ISP that provide stable sites?
Thank you in advance

I use Internet Junction $10.00 an month
they are very cheap. Tell them I sent you, Doug Poston
they had their problems but seemed to have worked through them.

Everyone in the world had a problem with Nimda a little while ago.
I attacks IIS which is what runs on most Hosting computers.
Look around for someone who has Windows 2000 servers for your site to be on.

Also they have Windows 2000 Servers $19.00 and up

---------------------------------------------------
and the latest Front page extensions need to be version
4.0.0000 or higher

here is how to find out what yours has

this will bring up a page.
Next click the "View" "source" so you can see the HTML for that page.

In there is the following:
-------------------------------
<html>

<head>
<meta http-equiv=&quot;Content-Type&quot;
content=&quot;text/html; charset=iso-8859-1&quot;>
<title> FrontPage Configuration Information </title>
</head>

<body>
<!-- _vti_inf.html version 0.100>
<!--
This file contains important information used by the FrontPage client
(the FrontPage Explorer and FrontPage Editor) to communicate with the
FrontPage server extensions installed on this web server.

The values below are automatically set by FrontPage at installation. Normally, you do not need to modify these values, but in case
you do, the parameters are as follows:

'FPShtmlScriptUrl', 'FPAuthorScriptUrl', and 'FPAdminScriptUrl' specify
the relative urls for the scripts that FrontPage uses for remote
authoring. These values should not be changed.

'FPVersion' identifies the version of the FrontPage Server Extensions
installed, and should not be changed.
--><!-- FrontPage Configuration Information
FPVersion=&quot;3.0.2.926&quot; <============= VERSION NUMBER IS HERE ======

-------------------------------

Ok as you can see from this, it's the version is old

you want the following
-------------------
Updates for Microsoft Windows-based Platforms (version 4.0.2.4324 for Windows 2000
version 4.0.2.4317 for Windows NT® 4.0 and Windows 9x systems)

Now I just set up another site with IJ.net and this was what showed up.

Or newest Version
5.0.2.2623

Doug Poston:

Thanks for the response. Nimda attacked my PWS and I had to reload everything. If the host has problem, they should notify me but they did not ):. I am looking for the unlimited trafic and the size >500 MB.
Again, thanks.

both companies offer bigger packages.

Plus aspwebhosting offers you the ability to have your own server. DougP, MCP
