Currently the company I work for has a company hosting our website but a seperate company hosting our email due to a contract with email hosting company. My problem is that if you type in the domain name it resolves to the correct website but the address text box does not show the domain name. Instead it shows the IP Address. I know the issue stems to the fact that the email company is registered to the actual domain name and they simply pass on the http request to the web hosting company. Is there a way to continue to do what is currently being done with the Domain Name being resolved correctly? I just want to gather some thoughts before I talk to the email hosting company on what I think should be done. I am a programmer by trade with some IT knowledge.
