I have had okay experiences with VirtualAvenue (

http://www.virtualave.net)

and also FateBack (

http://www.fateback.com).

Generally though, I tend to prefer the low-fee hosts over the freebie ones though, because you usually can't get a good CGI-bin with a free host, and the ads can be really intrusive. I have some of my personal sites hosted on Server101.com (~$8/month) and on BinaryBlocks.com, which is only $35 a year for something like 30MB. Server101 is really great, and I've never had any problems with them...and BinaryBlocks is usually alright too though they've had some weird downtime. --K. Danielsson, asst. editor
