I need to be able to scan directories for .JPG and .TIF files. Then I need to pull the header information which has the file comments. Then I need to display thumbnails of these images with editable comments. Can Java help me do this? Do I have to use Java or will .net also work on the Mac? I am confused as to what kind of web programming languages are compatible with the Mac.
