For custom web development excluding plugins for wordpress, drupal etc..
Because I start working with web development I want to know what useful plugins/tools I can use.

So far only useful tools I use flexslider for sliders and google maps for a maps. I want to know what else I can you

One chooses tools based on a required task. Those required tasks are undefined so there's very little that can be recommended.

Immerse yourself in sites like smashingmagazine.com and css-tricks.com

The only answer to that is, any and all the ones you need.


And what you need will depend entirely on what the site/pages you are developing will be required/intended to accomplish.
