Web Crystal Reports 8.0

We are using Web Crystal and some of our reports a failing on some workstations because the subreports have spaces or special characters in the name.

How can I rename subreports that are part of the main report, not external subreports. We have tried, Save Subreport as..."different name" but when we bring it back in it still remembers the old name.
