Web Control and Spyware software 1

Hi there...
Does anyone know or are using any product that works at the gateway to protect the spyware coming in before they are hit the workstations as well as stopping the users surfing those inappropriated sites or webfilter? We are currently using the SurfControl and my boss does not please it. It does control users surfing website, but it does not do the spyware. He does not want to use any indevidual workstation product, like spybot, adware, or spysweeper etc...

We are looking into WatchGuard Firebox X. It is a hardware solution but it looks like it will do what you want.

and although I've never used this feature, it has the ability to prevent any type of downloads or installs via the web. It has some pretty cool features, plus it's completely open source and it's free!

It's a pretty neat program. It can tie in with Active Directory, so it uses your network logins. You can assign different permissions to individual users or groups or computers. We didn't get this option, but their "dirty" image filtering looks pretty cool, too!
