Web Configuration Error Msg.

I have a friend who is trying to get into his e-mail (he wasn't very specific, so I may ask him for further info) and he is getting the following error message:

"Your web browser is configured not to run script or doesn't support script in web pages. Check your browser settings or web browser that can run script".

Any suggestions to why he is getting this message? Thx.

Which browser?
Which email service? (is it an online service?)

First guess though... if he isn't already, try using Internet Explorer.
Then check the security settings.
