Web component

Crystal Enterprise question - our Enterprise server also hosts the web access (for external clients etc) but our company rules now stat that our web servers can't hold any sensitive information such as reports.

I've heard that you can seperate the web components of Crystal Enterprise and have them running on a seperate server. Is this difficult to implement for an existing server such as this?

I'm pretty sure it is a matter of installing the server components you wish to separate on different servers - then create a Server Group that encompasses all the servers you installed on various machines - and configuring those servers to the CMS database.

It is not extrememly difficult and may be the answer you are looking for.
