I have a Windows NT 4 server, with IIS installed.
I have created a simple HTML page, with a link to a Crystal 8.5 .rpt file.
With Crystal Enterprise installed on the server, the report will open in a Crystal Report Viewer through Internet explorer,(prompting for download of the viewer for first time users).
This is exactly what I want to achieve! However, I don't want to purchase Crystal Enterprise licences for everyone in the company.
My copy of Crystal included a free 5 user licence for CE. Therefore, as soon as I have more than 5 people using the report, it reports an error requiring the Administrator password to connect to the WCS.
Is there a way to achieve all this without Crystal Enterprise?
Can the WCS be installed as a separate component without CE?
Please help!
