We installed web client a month ago and I was able to look at all information and work on most modules except Real Time displays. Now I cannot see most of the info including config module. I can only see Contact centre information. When I click on skillsets in configuration section it just sits and thinks for a long time and then hangs the application. Not sure what could be wrong. I was told it could be something to do with the network. Any thoughts?

Can you remote desktop onto the server itself an open taskmgr, Then check the processes running.

I had a problem a while ago where if the user didn't log out correctly and just closed the browser then the processes would contine to run on the server bring it to a standstill.

Also, If you want the RTD's to run properly you will need to be on the same lan as it relies on multicasts. <Check the online help as this guides you through the process >

Here are some questions that might be helpful.

Are the SWC and SCCS on the same subnet? Is the Multicast controller setup? Is the RSMconfig setup? Have you tried running and ICERtdTrace from the SWC and from the Client? Have you run an RSM trace from the SCCS?

I'm running Windows 2003 SWC 4.5 SU03 and I'm unable to retrieve Real Time Displays. I'm familiar with the ICERTDTRACe utility however when I run it I get this error message:

"ICERTDTRACE socket error: Bind error #10013"

I'm thinking this might be a permissioning issue but not sure. If anyone else has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. "

I currently have an identical setup to Tekgirl23, and we have not been able to find a solution yet.

atchuvely101, did this solution also fix the RTD issues? Did you have the same issues, as the problem that we are having seems to be related to something on the server itself, either a policy setting or possibly an application(it's an HP server with their utilities on it).

yes it did. After the network people do thier portion try restarting the RSM via Configuration and RTR setting. In the same window the compress data should be selected. Make sure the TTL settings matches on the server and the network side/router

Good Luck
