Does anyone know of any way to filter reports created in Crystal the same way you would filter a canned report (agent login, application id, etc.) using Symposium Web Client?

It doesn't make sense that Symposium would allow the ability to import reports without the functionality of dynamically filtering them.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you set up a field as a "Parameter" then when running the report, you will be prompted to enter in value for the parameter. You can then use the "Select Expert" to create a list of drop down values for that parameter. If you want to create something that lets you select between interval, daily, weekly, or monthly like most canned reports, you'll have to write some code to make that happen. It's not as straight forward as it seems.

Thanks brewerdude.

However, I understand how to add parameters into Crystal Reports, my question was specifically related to running reports through Symposium Web Client.

Symposium Web Client doesn't recognize Crystal parameters as far as I know. A paramaterized report that is imported into Web Client will just run as if there isn't a parameter there.

Hopefully this clarification will initiate some discussion/reaction.
