We are currently implementing Web Client across two sites. One of the difficulties that we are experiencing is trying to view Agents for each remote site on real time displays. Web Clients users at location A cannot view the Agents of location B and Web Clients users at location B cannot view the Agents of location A.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

On the web server, go to start > programs > Symposium web client > configuration.

Open Nortel Networks > Applications > Real time reports and click on registry settings.

On the window that appears select the 'unicast and multicast' option and typw how many sessions there are to be.

Note. There are four types of unicast data sessions (2 moving windown and 2 interval to date). Each RTR will use one of these types of sessions.

For a user with four different reports open (i.e. each using different unicast session types), this will equate to four unicast sessions.

For a user with four similar (i.e. using the same unicast session type), this will equate to one unicast session.

Users at separate PCs will incur their own unicast sessions as described above.
