Is anyone using this? We just had our vendor configure this server and now have a couple of PC's also set up to view but we do not have multicasting turned on yet. Any thing I should look out for as far as features or problems, please let me know.

I've not it to be not that great and somewhat kludgey. For one, in order for it to work you must install SOAP, then you have to add it to your trusted sites list, then (this is the kicker) you have to disable all the ActiveX security settings on your web browser.

I cannot, in good conscience, propose implementing that type of application in our enviroment.

bd,
aren't you just disableing activex security settings for the trusted site?

to get the full use of SWC, multicasting is the best-for-the-bandwidth. Mind you if you use ADD---then you NEED multicasting turned on.

Also, careful of what OS the PC clients are on--XP SP2 still gives some headaches.
