Hi All,

Currently we have the following problem with our web client installation. As soon as we install XP Service Pack 2 on a Client PC, it is possible to log in via the web client but all other tasks will bring up an active x problem.

Have someone of you as well encountered such problems? Is this a known issue? I checked the NORTEL product bulletins and found out that it should complaint without any problems.

Our workstations have as well windows firewall deactivated. And currently I am checking the registry and the IE settings.

Hope that someone can comeback to me with any additional information.

Regards,

LKI

check the pop up blocker installed with SP2
check if the security settings for the trusted site are set correctly.

I have the same problem.
I already checked the security settings and the pop up blocker. I am trying to see with Nortel if it's a patch...

I now found out what it is. This problem is more related to the IE setup. You need to check the security settings in IE and the account settings of the user.

That's absolutely correct. You need to disabled all active X controls plust some other items.

plshlp123,

Are you saying that when you run SU05 and above that you have to DISABLE all Active-X controls..?? This is totally opposite to SU04.

The reason I am asking is that my vendor is upgrading us from SU04 to SU06 this coming Monday.

Thanks
