Hi,

I'm currently developing ASP pages using VB6 and Web Class Designers. Unfortunately we seem to have hit a major problem.

It occurs when we use the ProcessTag event to input data onto the returned page. Instead of showing all the data returned (from a database onto the page as a Table) it shows the first couple of lines only - often stopping half way through a line.

Any further data below this point is ignored - this includes any data attempting to be returned and any HTML code on the original Template!! :-(

When in debug mode, if I print the contents of what is to be returned to the ASP page into the Immediate window and then copy this into another HTML page to check it the data is all there and the HTML code is correct.

Another interesting point is:
If I remove text further up the returned page I get more table rows back.

My first thought has been ScriptTimeout, but having set this to a rediculously high figure it still does the same.

The only solution I have currently found is to create the page entirely on the fly with huge amounts of Response.Writes, but this negates the Userability we wish to supply the End User/Developer, which is a high requirement of the project.

I.e. To easily change colour schemes on the pages, to change the wording etc.

This has baffled us for a couple of months and Web Classing seems to be a bit of a grey area as far as books and MSDN go...

Ben Marshalsea
