I have Windows 2000 Advanced Server. It worked ok, but something happened and now some websites missing icons and pictures and banners. Like at yahoo website I can see all texts but no banners, no any clikcable icons. They shown like little box with red x. How I can get pictures back?

How do you connected to the internet ? Modem, cable, DSL?
this could be due to slow internet connectioin.

Have you just installed a IE SP?

Ash.

Is it only your machine? I had this issue a while ago after tightening up protocols on our firewall. I had to specifically allow DNS to the LAN. Oddly enough with out this setting I could still pull up pages but no images.

Just a thought.

Ok, I found out.. someone was changed "tools- internet options" settings in Internet Explorer... there is a place where you can uncheck or check "show pictures". It was too simple...
