I want to configure my exchange server so that I can use my browser to access email on the exchange server.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to what software I need to install and the best way to configure it up??

I can currently access the default webpage for IIS, so the router is configured correctly I just need to no how to configure exchange.

Any help is much appreciated.

Exchange 5.5 and 2000 come with Outlook Web Access that allows what you are looking for. They require that IIS is running on the machine where you install OWA. Just make sure that you follow the pre-requisites and even browse through some of the problems that Microsoft has encountered by going through the Technet knowledge base and search for OWA.

If you do everything right you will then be able to get to that machine by putting either it's IP address or name and then add a '\exchange' on the end of the line.
