Web App - 3x3 button layou

Hi,

Im new to HTML/CSS. An after some sample code for a 3 x3 button layout on an iPhone seen app.

Iwebkit and others dont appear to have functionality to Do this.

Anyone able to assist with best way to do this?

There are many ways to do this, and some are more suitable for mobile devices than others.

Is this a web page that you'd like to look good on a mobile device as well as a desktop browser, or is this purely for a mobile device app?

If the latter, then it doesn't really matter about the markup or styling as much, so you could simply float 9 LI elements and give them each a width style of 33%.
