Hi everyone,

How can I create an access-list where *certain* users have access to the web at certain times(e.g. 12.00-13.00).

I don't have a TACAS+ server but do have a server on the network (if that may need to be used)

TIA

I don't know of any way that you can control access times with a PIX. You can do this with FW-1 but I'm pretty sure that the PIX doesn't have this feature.

The best way to control web access would be through a proxy server.

Chris.

HI.

You can install IAS (Microsoft RADIUS server) on your server, or other 3rd party RADIUS / TACACS, and use pix AAA options to control outbound traffic.

But - do you really need and want this?

I also agree with Chris - better use a proxy server or other solution instead of the pix for that.

Bye
