Weatherbug

I don't know if this belongs here or not, but I'll start.
Client downloaded weatherbug and now has problems staying connected to the internet and POP3 mail.The system can PING the router but cannot open and web sites. After reboot IE and Outlook work for a time.
Ran spybot and Adaware to clean up system. Cannot remove weatherbug search companion from add/remove.
Any ideas?

i had weatherbug for awhile til i looked at just what all it had along with it - got rid of it

however, it took a lot of searching of the files/folders & registry to completely get rid of it.

Yeah, Weatherbug's a disaster. Use Weather Pulse instead. It's also free and free of adware.
