We currently have our updates on a ftp site. We use the autoupdae (setup.exe) and it works well for our lan folks. The dial up users claim its too too slow. what do you suggest?
If you mirror the FTP site to a local folder, then it should theoretically use the incremental updates, which are about 100-150k in size. These should not be a problem for dial-up users. Make sure the the UPDATE.INI and DELTA.INI are also in the same folder. The .EXE files, I agree are too big for dial-up users.
