We want the caller to press 0 to get the operator, not just wait for the system to timeout and forward the call to the operator.

Is there anyway to do this?

Tell them to press "0" in your greeting. It is a default in the system.

ie: Thank you for calling ........if you know your parties extension dial it now or for further assistance press "0".

or Thank you for calling....... Press "0" at anytime for assistance.

If its already defaulting to the operator when no digits are pressed then it will do so if you press zero as well. Simply change your greeting to tell the callers they have option of pressing zero.

Thank you for the help with the Operator. Now we would like to set the system were you have to press O or you are sent to a voicemail account.

2 places
1. under table programming atdt: is the operator extension

2. feat 982, operator (spellit) and set atdt extension

this is where the calls go for '0'
