We just upgraded to Veritas 9.0 when I performed a back up from another server to back up a database on a SQL server (.BAK file) the backup seemed to work but it said it has exception: OFO: Initialization failure on: "\\ENTERPRISE\g drive". Advanced Open File Option used: Veritas Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP).
OFO: Unable to get minimum quiet time window for physical volume.

Have any of you seen these exception before? If so what do they mean?

Thanks in advance, Scruby

Decrease the quiet time required by OFO, (see Veritas TechNote ID: 194940). I had this error and set it to 3seconds, (default is 5).
