We have an Option 81C 25.40B with eight PRI ISDN 2-way trunks with two D-Channels. We are not able to receive CDR for 911 calls. We were told that the 911 trunks do not have disconnect supervision therefore our system is unable to capture the call detail record and send it to our Switchview aka Avotus Call Accounting allowing us to find out who dialed 911 off our voice network.
Is there a way that the PBX could be tricked into thinking it received disconnect supervision on a 911 call?
It was suggested to me that it is possible by programming OPD (Outpulsed Digits recorded in CDR). We would have to INI the PBX in order for it to take. I did not get a warm fuzzy about this.
I don't understand why I was able to capture 911 calls when we had only vanilla T-1's to an Option 71 using the same Call Accounting Program.
